The Dens & Treetops Condominium Units are privately owned premiere accommodations on the lake. Our luxury condos feature enclosed balconies or decks, fireplaces, some with Jacuzzi tubs, spacious kitchens and elegant living rooms.   Did we mention that the views are supreb? Kitchens in the Dens & Treetops are equipped with modern appliances including microwaves, washer/dryers, and dishwashers. Cookware, utensils and silverware are provided. These units are equipped with central air and climate control for your comfort, along with cable TV . Relax in a chaise lounge, or take a short walk to our pool or marina for water fun activities. The Dens & Treetops Condominiums truly make a vacation to Kentucky Lake a luxurious one. There is limited parking in this area and we ask that extra cars be parked in the resort front parking lot. One car may be parked by the front door and 2 in front of the garage.

Units will sleep 8 - 10 persons( TH 5-8 have sleeper sofas) and are great for families or groups seeking modern convenience in our resort atmosphere. Big Bear Cottages provide clean, convenient and economical accommodations for one to four persons. Nestled among the wooded slopes, these rustic concrete block units are some of the original lodges that have housed our guests here at Big Bear for decades. Each has resort amenities such as our pool, marina and private beach, just a short walk away. Kitchens are equipped with full cookware, utensils, dishwashers and microwaves. Wall heat and a window Air Conditioner provide for your comfort, along with cable TV.  Each bedroom now has a Sealy Posturepedic Queen size bed. A new sofa and love seat, a 27" TV, remodeled bathrooms, and remodeled kitchens add to your comfort.  It's a lake cottage with tons a memories and now modern amenities. Charcoal grills and lawn chairs are available on all patios for barbeque delights.

You don't have to fish to enjoy this spacious 4 bedroom lodge-style cottage. Up to 12 persons can sleep in roomy comfort, making this a great place for groups or large families. Perched on a scenic ridge overlooking the resort to the marina, a bedroom balcony makes waking up to Kentucky Lake a refreshing experience. In 2006 the kitchen was remodeled, new dining tables were added and new living room furniture.  3 BR's have king size beds, one BR has 2 doubles and there are 2 single mattress sofa's built in the LR.

The kitchen is equipped with microwave, full cookware, utensils and silverware. Central air and climate control provide for your comfort, along with cable TV . A short walk is all that is required to reach our beach, pool or marina, putting you in the midst of water fun activities.

Originally built in 1812 and restored to accommodate modern conveniences, guests in your party can enjoy all the comforts of home while reliving a bit of history. Nestled among the wooded slopes, resort amenities such as our pool, marina and private beach are just a short walk away.

Kitchen is equipped with full cookware, utensils and silverware, dishwasher, microwave, two refrigerators, double-oven, and a large kitchen table. Central heat & air provide for your comfort, along with a 54" cable TV. .

All 3 BR's have a king, a double and a twin.  There is one BR downstairs and 2 upstairs.  One of the upstairs BR's has a log that you have to step over to enter the room.

TAKE A STROLL:

Our resort is a 52 acre splendorous woodland that invites casual morning and evening walks through the trees to the shoreline that surrounds Big Bear Resort.

TAKE A DIP:

Our large in-ground pool, or private sandy beach on the lake, will cool off those hot summer days with wet splashing fun.The pool features a large shallow section and a 10 foot deep end for frolic and fun. Patio tables, lounges and chairs are assembled around the deck for sunbathing. Marco Polo anyone?

Big Bear Beach is our private sandy slope on the lake, which is a perfect place for beach side picnics, snorkeling, wading and building those majestic sand castles. Located behind our condominium units, the beach features two covered gazebos with tables and chairs; as well as, a platform anchored off the beach and a campfire Pit for roasting marshmallows and making s' mores and campfire stories.

VOLLEYBALL/BASKETBALL:

If you want to volley for serve, or slam-dunk on the court, Big Bear has a lighted basketball court and volleyball net set up for team play. Spike that ball!

GIFTS/APPAREL: "Bear Necessities"

Visit our gift shops located in the marina and office stores for everything from suntan lotion to soda. Basic food needs like sugar, canned goods, milk, bread, candy and soda are available. Camera film, batteries, charcoal , lighter fluid, firewood, and pool accessories such as swim floats, rafts and goggles are on hand too.

Souvenirs? You bet. Big Bear has a full line of customized apparel; shirts, jerseys, hats and jackets, that are colorful and creatively styled.

RESORT POLICIES

1. We hold our guests responsible for each and every day of their reservation. If you arrive late or depart early, we charge for these days.

2. Deposit: A check, credit card or money order for deposits is required. Deposits are as follows: WEEK: Units 1 - 8, 14 - $600.00, Units 17, 20B, 20C, 40, 3A, 4D, 7A, 1D - $750.00, Units 26-29 - $350.00, Units 21-23, 15, & 16 $150.00 deposit. (3 DAY RESERVATIONS: All Units - One (1) nights rent will be deposit. Condo Security deposits will be kept until unit is inspected and refunded within 10 days. 6% sales tax not included. 3% room tax not included. There is a $28.00 charge on all returned checks. Reservations MUST be claimed by 10A.M. the following day or you forfeit your reservation. Boat rentals must be returned to the marina daily.

3. Cancellation: Your deposit, less 20% administration cost, will be refunded if cancellation is received 30 days prior to the date of reservation. See also item no. 7.

4. Reservations: Weekly reservations provide the best deals and reflect a discounted daily rate. A 3 night minimum is required for all reservations except for SPECIALS.

5. Children: No charge will be made for children 6 years of age and under. Baby crib charge $15.00/week, High chairs $15.00/week.

6. Pets must be walked in the designated pet walk areas on Big Bear property. Anyone caught with a pet in a unit that does not allow pets will be asked to leave with no refund and charged a $100.00 pet fee. Disabled Exempted. Pet certificates from a vet are required.

7. Groups of 3 or more are considered a reunion group and must be paid in full in advance. In addition, all groups must sign a contract for rental of facilities. Monthly rentals include water, sewer and cable.  The electricity is read once a month.  No other services are provided.

8. We cannot be responsible for fire, theft, accident or injury to guests.

9. Rates and information on facilities quoted are effected for the calendar year 2011 and are subject to change without notice.

10. This is a dry county. Liquor, beer and wine supplies are available in Paducah, KY (30 minute drive) or you may bring your own.

11. Guests use beach and pool at own risk. Additional towels or linens are charged.

12. DAMAGE charges will be collected for damage to any unit or facility!

13. Check out time10:00 AM. Guests will be charged $25.00 for every 1/2 hour past checkout. Check in time no earlier than 3:00 PM.

14. Big Bear Resort reserves the right to refuse any individual the use of its equipment, lodging and recreational facilities for any reason permissible under Federal and State law. Big Bear does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age or disability.
